General Purpose: The Charge – Community Health RN assists and supports the Nurse Manager and Medical Assistant Supervisor(s) in the supervision of service, training, operational, and personnel functions within their assigned location or region. This position is 70% clinical, 30% administrative and includes a leadership stipend. 


Essential Duties/Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory functions including hiring, training, evaluation, workflow, discipline, standards, and overall performance evaluation in accordance with STRIDE policies, procedures, and applicable laws. 
  • Support compliance with all applicable regulations and standards pertinent to the organization and areas of supervision.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of efficient and effective care processes and procedures.
  • Provide direct service to patients in conducting various clinical procedures within the approved scope of nursing. 
  • Assist in developing staffing plans to meet organizational objectives of safe, high-quality patient care. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Required: Baccalaureate degree in Registered Nursing from an accredited school or training program. 
  • Required: An active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado or appropriate compact licensing arrangement. 
  • Required: 2 years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or community health setting. 
  • Previous ambulatory care nursing experience is preferred
  • Previous clinical leadership experience is preferred.

  • Work independently and organize work in a manner that ensures accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to determine the appropriate solution to the issue at hand.
  • Manage multiple projects or competing demands. 
  • Demonstrate an effective and sensitive response to the needs and concerns of STRIDE’s diverse patient population.
  • Handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.

Tools you’ll use: Cell phone and Computer, iPad, printer, multi-line telephone systems, fax machine, copy machine, calculator, and all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel and the internet.


Working Environment and Physical Activities: The role requires physical stamina to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds, engage in sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, walking, and climbing stairs, as well as reach overhead and perform repetitive tasks. Effective verbal communication and strong hearing skills are essential to ensure accurate execution of responsibilities and interactions within the team. The position also demands strong mental capabilities, including the ability to compare, copy, compute, compile, analyze, coordinate, and negotiate information. Additionally, instructing others and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills are critical components of this role

Work Schedule

4-day, 10-hour shifts. (Full time)


We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 - $106,000, depending on your experience.

This range reflects STRIDE’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. The final salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on several factors, including experience, education, budget, internal equity, specialty, and training.
