Provides a broad range of administrative and technical support to District employees and Employee Services staff in the areas of employee separations, leaves of absence, Title IX complaints, and employee grievances.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists and responds to inquiries from applicants, and employees; explains routine Employee Services procedures.
Obtains necessary forms and documents from employees and maintains confidentiality of employee data.
Expedites workflow by using Frontline, ensuring that resignation requests are processed by monthly payroll deadlines.
Creates and maintains electronic files for employees by printing, scanning and attaching documents to the employee file; ensures proper routing and clearance of files.
Reviews and verifies employee documents and system codes to ensure accuracy and to support statistical reporting.
Works collaboratively, provides support, and contributes to knowledge sharing with Employee Services staff.
Supports the District’s Chapter 21 Contract nonrenewal process.
Responds appropriately to inquiries in a timely manner to applicants, employees, supervisors, and all other inquiries.
Reviews and verifies employee documents and codes to reflect status of employees.
Performs various systems processes to support Frontline and absence reporting.
Compiles and generates reports, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations.
Arranges and coordinates meetings and conferences; maintains calendar of meetings and prepares follow-up materials.
Manages records and supports timeline actions for the District’s Title IX compliance related to complaints against staff and students.
Responds to Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) unemployment benefit applications, and prepares materials for TWC appeal hearings in collaboration with the designated OES Coordinator.
Safety
Performs preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensures equipment is in safe operating condition.
Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operates tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
Corrects unsafe conditions in work area and promptly reports any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.

Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.
Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching; occasional climbing stairs; frequent walking.
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 20 pounds).
Environment: Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours.
Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position;
Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
Accredited High School diploma, GED, or Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency required;
Certification/License: None.
Experience: 3 years in technical customer service or detailed work environment that includes the use of research skills, maintaining detailed records, and maintaining confidentiality while collaborating with District staff as needed.
Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) working proficiency, preferred.
