Job Summary: The Processing Shift Lead supports the Shift Supervisor in coordinating daily operations during a designated shift. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, supporting team members, and ensuring that production goals are met safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Must be available to work 1st shift (5:30 am until 2:00 pm) or 2nd shift (2:00 pm until 10:30 pm).
Must be able and willing to go thru pre screenings such as background and drug test.
Serves as the go-to person for team members during the shift.
Operate and train/certify others on fork truck certification and yard spotter certification.
Support training of new employees and coach team members on best practices.
Assist with minor troubleshooting and escalate operational issues to the Shift Supervisor.
Ensure proper documentation of production activity, timekeeping, and handovers.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company policies.
Attend all Company meetings and trainings as directed by management.
Pursue and recommend industry and leadership development training programs for review.
Yard truck experience will be required.
