Demonstrates leadership and commitment by engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the EHR to support an optimal patient experience. 

Recruits, selects, develops, retains and motivates staff to ensure a highly credentialed and competent team. 

Organizes and leads regular staff meeting to keep all informed.

Ensures timely completion of performance evaluations, required CBTs, and competencies for direct reports. 

Adheres to PEP process and policy for direct reports when needed. 

Demonstrates leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by utilizing data to identify opportunities and drive process improvement.

Advocates and promotes the usage of the patient portal and self-service tools 

Prepares work schedules for coverage of Registration areas; considers request for time off in fair and consistent manner. Manages time approvals in payroll system for direct reports in a timely manner.

Responsible for successfully meeting performance goals established for current departments. 

Develops expense and salary operating budgets, working with appropriate parties. Develops and implements appropriate methods to monitor budget compliance and resolve variance.

Demonstrates working knowledge in the areas of access management, hospital and professional billing, patient account management, financial assistance, cash management, health insurance practices, industry regulatory requirements, and industry standards for healthcare revenue resolution management practices.

Reviews Financial Assistance applications to for approval/denial in a timely manner.

Exhibits the ability to resolve patient concerns and complaints. 

Maintains cooperative working relationships with various hospital personnel and physicians in order to resolve problems, enhance smooth delivery of services, and to plan for the future. Attends and participates in department meetings as required by job function and title.

Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field through continuing education. Presents new information and demonstrates knowledge by making suggestions for operations.

Work Schedule: 80 Hours bi-weekly



Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Healthcare environment 
  • Healthcare information systems experience preferred 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office(Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point) 
  • Written and oral communication skills with persons of all ages and diverse backgrounds 
  • Excellent customer service skills
