The Opportunity - Temp to Perm

As a part of the America’s team, SANY in Yuba City, California is looking to recruit a driven, forward-thinking and highly motivated Warehouse Operator. With the deep investment and backing of SANY Group, the Americas business is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. Critical to this growth is the recruitment of a high-quality Warehouse Operator Team Member, who is responsible for overseeing the inventory operations for machines, attachments, and service parts. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse operations with developing and executing the cycle count program for the operations contained in the Distribution Vertical in Yuba City, CA. This team member will collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and the various Peachtree City operations to conduct cycle counts, review inventory accuracy, and provide feedback regarding variances that are identified.

With current revenues just short of $1B, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share. This role will require a leader who is forward-thinking, entrepreneurial and motivated to seize the opportunity to represent and grow a respected global brand in the Americas market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties include:

• Expert at Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Outlook and Excel.
• Process Return Goods Authorizations and credits/returns. 
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions between parts, sales, and customers. 
• Be able to complete shipping labels and schedule LTL pickups. 
• Assisting the parts team with process improvements to reduce receiving and shipping issues. 
• Coordinate with the parts teams when paperwork discrepancies are identified.
• Assisting with inventory process and posting to SAP/Excel.
• Assist with creating BOLs for outbound shipments.
• Assist with inbound and outbound trailer scheduling management.

Always follows operation per documented instruction.  Properly, notifies supervisor, maintenance and other workers of a quality or process problem.

Safety - works in a safe manner; wears all necessary personal protective equipment required for the operation.  Participate in safety discussions.  Awareness of unsafe conditions and takes appropriate actions.

Quality Control - follows standardized work.  Proactively controls quality in the process; performs a quality check during and after completion of process; accepts feedback of defects and participates in developing countermeasures. Notifies Team Leader or Group Leader of any abnormal situations.

Kaizen/Problem Solving - Striving to continually improve operations and performance; seeking to eliminate waste on the job and reduce costs; developing new or improved products or methods of work; suggesting new techniques and processes; applying known procedures or technology in new areas.

 5S - Work site clean and orderly.  Consistently improving appearance of the team’s area.  Active in following 5s—Sifting, Sorting, Spic and Span, Sustaining, and organization of workstations.

Attendance - Always at work and on time.  Proper call-in 30 minutes (or more) before start of shift.  Minimizes lost time.  Countermeasures absences to avoid future occurrences.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will:

• Must be customer service and quality driven
• Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and SAP
• Previous experience with inbound and outbound paperwork, preferred
• Strong hands-on aptitude.
• Ability to comprehend and execute work assignments with minimal follow up
• Self-motivated with the ability to cross trained skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Observant, high attention to detail, and quality conscious.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.

EDUCATION 

High School Diploma or equivalent with two or more years related experience.
