Prevailance is seeking a highly skilled Engineer Analyst – Scheduler to support U.S. Navy operations. The Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing both short- and long-term ship evaluation schedules for the N44 TMIT team. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational readiness across all Surface Force Pacific Fleet ships. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain the N44 TMIT ship visit schedule, including all Readiness Evaluations (READ-Es) and Assist Visits
  • Schedule all Readiness Evaluations in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM) guidelines
  • Coordinate closely with ship Operations Officers, Immediate Superiors in Command (ISICs), and CNSP N3 Current Operations to ensure accurate scheduling
  • Collaborate with ships’ Operations Officers to plan evaluations within SFTRM timelines, including:
    • Readiness For Sea Assessment (RFSA) – if requested
    • READ-E 2
    • TYCOM Sea Trial (TST)
    • READ-E 5, 6, and 7
  • Serve as the INSURV schedule Trusted Agent, providing ship schedule data to support Material Inspections
  • Collect and archive READ-E and Material Inspection (MI) results, maintaining accurate records and data spreadsheets for analysis
  • Publish and distribute an updated schedule weekly, highlighting any changes from the prior week

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination across ships, commands, and operations personnel
  • Experience using scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and data-tracking systems

Strongly Desired Qualifications:

  • Retired Senior Enlisted (E7/E8)
  • Familiarity with SFTRM guidelines and Navy ship readiness requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience as one of the following:

- An Inspector for the U.S. Navy Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV);

- Inspector at the Afloat Training Group; or

- TYCOM staff focusing on Pre-INSURV preparations


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Security Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
