Job Description:
Position: Logistics Coordinator
Reports to: President / CEO
Location: Montreal, Quebec
What you’ll do
- Work closely with the buying/procurement team to build accurate shipping schedules and issue POs
- Obtain and analyze spot quotations for ad hoc shipments as necessary
- Regular communication with suppliers to ensure orders meet shipment deadlines
- Ensure bookings with freight carriers are validated on a timely basis
- Track and trace air, sea, and trucking shipments to ensure scheduled arrivals
- Reporting of all inbound shipments to all warehouse facilities as required
- Prepare and verify all documentations relating to import or export shipments and Customs clearance (CA, US, UK, & AUS)
- Ensure all customs documentation is correct and compliant with current customs regulations
- Update shipments status in the system and to the sales teams ensuring shipments are released by communicating with customers brokers within timeline
- Management of retail and web business stock transfers as required
- Arrange delivery with warehouse and ensure sales teams order are delivered on time
- Management of cross-border transfer of stock between warehouses including issue duty drawback claim with CBSA and CBP
- Update various workbooks, ERP systems to ensure visibility of all inventory on order or in transit
- Review and approval of all shipping, duty and tax billings pertaining to all shipments
- Sample arrangement with supplier and design team
- Weekly and monthly reports to manager and sales teams, and arrange payment of schedule with management weekly before vessel arrival
- Submit GIT report to accounting department
- Maintain good relationships with supplier and customers
- Inventory control and management

What you’ll bring*
- College Degree in Logistics, International Business or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in traffic logistics, in a similar role.
- Experience working in the fashion industry, an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, in French and English.
