Program & Event Coordinator

Your responsibilities
The Program & Event Coordinator leads the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of national-level programs, events, and meetings across the U.S. Experience & Design Centers (EDCs). This role requires a highly self-directed professional who can independently manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives while maintaining strong alignment with internal stakeholders, including EDC Managers, Regional Directors, VPs, and cross-functional partners.
Program, Event Planning & Execution
· Independently plans, manages, and executes national and regional events and programs (e.g., builders, dealers, trade professionals).
· Serves as the primary contact for program development, execution, and coordination.
· Collaborates closely with EDC Managers and Admin/Purchasing to select and manage program vendors, ensuring quality and consistency.
· Develops, manages, and maintains event websites and program communications across time zones.
· Partners with travel agents to coordinate guest travel and logistics.
· Sends pre- and post-event communications, including invitations, confirmations, and follow-ups.
· Oversees day-of event logistics on-site at local EDC; ensures high-touch, positive guest experiences.
· Manage event details at home EDC location from inception to execution (e.g., catering, florals, decor, etc.)
Stakeholder Engagement
· Works closely with EDC Managers to align program execution with business goals and local needs; meets weekly, or as needed.
· Builds and maintains effective working relationships with sales managers, regional managers, directors, VPs, etc.
· Acts as main point of contact for sales nominations and guest registration, follows up regularly to meet timelines.
Process & Standards Management
· Develops, documents, and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for program and event coordination.
· Trains EDC staff across locations on SOPs and event execution best practices.
· Tracks and reports on program outcomes using surveys and performance metrics; provides actionable insights monthly or as requested.
· Development and maintenance of event standards for continuity across all EDC’s
Project & Resource Management
· Maintains a centralized calendar of programs and events across EDCs.
· Manages event assets such as recipes, QR codes, digital links, and collateral resources.
· Coordinates with vendors and contractors, ensuring all quotes and invoices are properly communicated to Admins.
· Tracks budgets and spending, providing regular reports and ensuring alignment with program goals.
Communication & Reporting
· Designs and executes guest surveys to assess experience and outcomes.
· Compiles and analyzes survey results to support continuous improvement efforts.
· Develops and supports creative communication strategies to enhance program visibility and engagement.
Additional Responsibilities
· Interfaces with showroom visitors, as a first point of contact at the reception desk, including designers, builders, and consumers, supporting both walk-in and appointment-based traffic, as needed.
· Utilizes CRM tools to engage with trade partners and strengthen dealer relationships.
· Supports showroom operations, including opening/closing duties and assisting guests.
· Participates in brand trainings and product updates annually.
· Assists with special events and projects outside of EDCs, as needed.
· Adapts quickly to shifting priorities with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
· May be asked to travel to EDC locations.
Your profile
· Bachelor’s degree (Hospitality, Marketing) – Required
· Certification (Cvent) – Required
· 3-5 Years of Experience (event coordination, hospitality) – Required
· Proven ability to independently manage multiple, high-impact events and programs with overlapping timelines with time-sensitive deliverables and minimal supervision.
· Detail-oriented and highly analytical, with a commitment to continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
· Ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments and shifting priorities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop professional-level presentations and event collateral.
· Exceptional organizational and time management abilities; able to juggle overlapping deadlines and time-sensitive tasks.
· Experience engaging with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
· Strong analytical skills, thriving on attention to detail and developing creative solutions to challenging problems
· Demonstrated ability to independently manage small to mid-level events
· Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
· Strong communication (written and verbal) stand-up presentation & training skills
· Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with managers, executives, and cross-functional teams; team player
· Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills with ability to multi-task
· Proficient in Cvent, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and CRM tools.
· Travel Percentage – 10%
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
Benefits offered include the following:

The plan provides a fully vested 100% employer match on the first 4% of compensation contributed and also includes an annual employer-funded profit sharing contribution dependent on company profitability.
· Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.
· Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.
· The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).
· 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).
· 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).

· BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
