Position General Responsibilities:

This position will assist the Lending Officers (Commercial and Consumer). It is accountable for loan processing and for relieving the officers of administrative detail and other varied secretarial and clerical duties as may be designated. 

 

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

Note:  Only minimum responsibilities are listed.  Other responsibilities may be required as requested by management.

 

Basic Qualifications

1. 2-year college level course of study in Business Administration and/or financial institution or related field experience or equivalent training and/or experience.

2.  Excellent customer service skills.

3.  Strong communication and organizational skills.

4.  Must be able to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.

 

Preferred Skills

1.  Previous Loan Processing experience

2.  Experience in utilizing Outlook, Microsoft Office and Excel Software


Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies

Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

Loan Processing and Credit Support:

  1. Work with Central Loan Processing in accurate preparation of commercial, consumer, and construction loan documentation
  2. Audit signed loan documents
  3. Professional communications and dealings with other industry professionals; title companies, Realtors and insurance agents
  4. Loan funding and booking
  5. Understanding and compliance with Stockman Bank lending policies and procedures for commercial, construction and consumer loans.
  6. All aspects of loan file maintenance  
  7. Process paid loans and work transfer files 
  8. Receive and make loan advance requests, payments and corrections
  9. Process and maintain tracking of construction loan draws
  10. Set-up, maintain and monitor tickler system for loans
  11. Insurance maintenance 
  12. Ordering real estate appraisals and market analyses 
  13. Prepare adverse action letters
  14. Maintenance of denied and withdrawn loan application files; records retention
  15. Provide exceptional customer service in relation to any issue/inquiry
  16. Request Credit Reports, Lien Searches, Business Entity and other searches as needed 
  17. Preparing Deeds of Trust and Mortgages for recording, reviewing title commitments and policies  
  18. Quote loan payoffs as needed
  19. Assist with various reports -daily, weekly, monthly
