Position Description

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Lead to support the NASA Near Space Network (NSN) Program. The duty station will be located in Greenbelt, MD, with the NSN program office. The CM Lead will manage program documentation including engineering and management files, requirements, risks, configuration control board files, and deliverables. The candidate must have experience working with multidisciplinary teams and using management information systems to gather, store, and update documentation.

Candidate must possess experience in both CM and project support functions and be familiar with the following project activities: risk management, configuration control, project presentations and review preparations.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: 4-year college degree
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years supporting NASA organizations and projects including:
  1. Coordinating with line organizations to ensure project requests are met.
  2. Organizing project support activities such as team meetings, review preparations, customer interactions, and documentation deliveries.
  3. Managing CM activities across engineering disciplines to ensure that all files are properly organized and easily accessible by the project and customers.
  4. Communicating and collaborating with engineers to support risk management and program control boards.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Share Point and other management information systems.
• Well versed using Microsoft Office Suite (presentations, team lists, and notes).
• Well versed using MS Outlook (Coordinate team and customer meetings).
• Managing CM processes.
• Managing project support processes.
• Communicating with project management and NASA customers.
• Communicating across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
