Position Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning and execution of marketing efforts for new store openings, including the development and implementation of digital and traditional media plans. This role helps ensure that all campaigns are executed on time, on brand, and aligned with local and regional business goals to drive traffic and brand awareness.
A significant part of this position also involves supporting sponsorship and partnership initiatives across the chain. This includes researching potential community or regional sponsorship opportunities, coordinating deliverables with partners, and helping ensure Ollie’s is well-represented in all sponsored events or programs. The Coordinator will help track sponsorship effectiveness and maintain a calendar of ongoing and upcoming partnerships.
This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and excited to learn. No prior marketing experience is required — training and support will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of local marketing strategies for new store openings.
- Assist in building and coordinating digital and traditional media plans, including radio, direct mail, digital display, and paid social for new store openings.
- Liaise with media vendors and internal teams to ensure timely campaign execution and delivery.
- Help manage and track local sponsorships and related marketing opportunities.
- Maintain project timelines, campaign documentation, and assist with post-campaign reporting.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the Marketing team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred or a related fields will be considered.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- No previous marketing experience required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.

- Ability to work on a computer for extended period of time.
- Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
