Position Overview:
The Service Tech plays a key role in supporting daily service operations by resolving technical issues, ensuring efficient workload execution, and maintaining high service standards. This position involves direct interaction with customers, third-party providers, and internal teams, as well as reporting service activity, escalating issues when necessary, and contributing to process improvement. Professional communication and accurate documentation are essential to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer customer phone calls and emails.
- Keep contact tracking updated.
- Interact and negotiate with third party service providers.
- Provide timely communications to key stakeholders on service calls and dispatches.
- Assist identifying gaps and inaccuracies in company support documentation.
- Represent the company in a professional manner in all communications.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge of foodservice equipment or similar.
- Diagnostic capabilities (able to ask questions to determine root cause or customer equipment issue).
- Internet search.
- Good written and oral communication.
- Good time management.
- Able to be self-guided on assigned tasks.
- Able to work in team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School/GED, or four years related experience, minimum.
- Associates or higher in a technical field (HVAC-R, Engineering, etc.), or 8 years related experience, preferred.
Location:
Preferred Onsite, but may be hybrid
Schedule:
M-F 8am-5pm Eastern
