| QUALIFICATIONS: | Bachelor’s degree required, preferred degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, or Counseling. Ability to work with diverse populations. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to work under challenging circumstances, be flexible, innovative, and able to analyze and solve problems as they arise.

| DESCRIPTION: | Assist school districts in the support of displaced students. Research and provide resource materials and suggestions for teachers. Develop materials for parents to use with their children. Provide program advocacy, create linkages with other programs and agencies, and provide and intervene in home settings as necessary. Work closely with the director in preparing and implementing the regular term tutorial services as well as summer programming, and Parent, Shelter, and Countywide Meetings. |
