QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in social media management and digital content creation. Familiarity with website management platforms. Operational knowledge of a Student Information System. Strong computer and technology troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of diverse hardware and software. Capable of keeping abreast of the rapidly changing and merging computer-related technologies. Ability to work independently and follow through and meet deadlines. Ability to partner and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and creativity. Experience in early childhood education or a related field.
JOB GOALS: To provide support to the early childhood initiatives throughout the district program. To enhance our online presence and support various administrative and promotional activities related to early childhood programs. To support program technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and possess strong technical skills in digital media management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Early Childhood Social Media Management - Develop and implement social media strategies to engage our community, promote events, and share educational resources.
Early Childhood Webpage Management - Maintain and update our website, ensuring content is current and user-friendly.
Photography and Video Production - Capture high-quality photos and videos of events and activities, creating engaging content for promotional use.
Assist with early childhood registrations under the direction of the Director of Early Childhood Education or Superintendent, as requested.
Establish and maintain student and teacher accounts associated with the district’s learning management system and other district and classroom-related software.
Assist in the planning and execution of early childhood events, including logistics and communication with participants. Design and produce advertisements and flyers to promote programs and events.
Assist students and staff with the use of multimedia equipment.
Maintain classroom and building technology.
Consult with teachers and administration about hardware, software, and technology integration.
Report on performance and computer security, and equipment dependability as requested.
Create teacher-friendly tutorials for basic troubleshooting of district platforms.
Consistently communicate with staff about ed. tech updates regarding district platforms, access to professional development opportunities and resources that align with district goals.
Model best practices and acceptable use of technology to students and staff.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Early Childhood Education and/or Superintendent or designee.
