OVERVIEW ::

The Dispatch/Clerk position will work on several aspects of feed mill operation, like receiving field inventories from growers, and allocating loads of the correct feed to maintain enough feed on the birds to complete their growth cycle. Dispatch duties include allocating drivers to take loads to different farms, and tracking loads per driver to insure that payroll is correct.
In addition this position is responsible for Clerical duties like attendance tracking, payroll, inventories etc. as well as answering phones and dealing with customers and public.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS ::
  • Receives Field Inventory.
  • Allocates Drivers to Deliver or Pick up feed to farms as needed.
  • Logs Payroll Cards on a weekly spreadsheet and delivers to Troutman for Processing.
  • Tracks attendance issues and delivers notices of absenteeism as needed.
  • Answers phones and deals with Customers, Drivers and general public throughout the day.
  • Copies and submits copies of Feed Delivery Tickets.
  • Deals with Data entry and reporting from AIM System and M-Tech System.
  • Minor Maintenance.
  • Computer skill and Mathematics. 

 

REQUIREMENTS ::
  • Strong and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional team to include sales, production, coordination, and transportation.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Database and accounting skills are a plus.
  • Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
