Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in selling season pass and lift tickets by performing the following duties. Reports directly to Town Manager and Assistant Manager. Must be able to lead by example whilst performing all the essential duties of subordinate Pass and Ticket Seller staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Adjusts disputes between customers and agents forming effective solutions.
Completes daily client and location close reports from individual point of sales and assigned sales location(s).
Opens and closes assigned sales location(s) by securing the premises and depositing daily monies per company policy and procedure.
Facilitates reporting for data pertaining to lift ticket and season pass sales.
Develop robust knowledge of any existing season pass partnership program including and not limited to qualifying product(s), lift access problem solving/solutions, partnership digital portals, and effective communication with partnership counterparts.
Suggests activities and lessons for customers.
Determines work procedures, work schedules, and expedites workflow.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of oneself and subordinates.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Adjusts errors and complaints.
Provide and train staff to deliver a guest experience that exceeds both guest and staff expectations.
Supports Telluride Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
Adheres to Telluride Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises a total of 4-6 front line employees in the Town offices. Is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, and evaluation of front-line sellers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; front-line staff scheduling, disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
High School education and 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ideal candidate will have resort POS operating systems experience, reservation/travel agency-like experience and/or concierge experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and accounting knowledge is also required.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have satisfactory knowledge of TSG resort POS software; Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Suite Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of skiing abilities.
Extensive knowledge of equipment needs.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime.

The pay rate for this position is $21.00/hr.
