Title:                Regional Account Sales Manager, Lead

Reports to:       Manager, Sales & Marketing Dept.

Location:         Magnescale Americas Inc. Chicago branch (c/o DMG MORI US Inc.  Hoffman Estates, IL)

Hours:              Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, local time at site

Classification:   Exempt

Travel:              Not to exceed 75%

Annual Base Salary: $100,000-$110,000
 

Employment is conditioned on DMG MORI US Group and Magnescale ability to obtain and maintain any necessary export licensing.

Essential Job Functions:
The Regional Account Sales Leader for ultra-precision encoder and measurement devices of Magnescale will be responsible for managing direct customers and/or distribution networks within a multi-state territory. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and must be able to regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment.   • Generating review to exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Displays or demonstrates products. Using samples, catalog or separately prepared sales materials and emphasized salable features.
  • Develop new business in new markets using the company’s existing products as direct sales channel.
  • Clearly communicating and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve/exceed territory goals while adhering to budgetary and policy guidelines.
  • In case of distribution channel business, working with distributors to identify and prospect customers as well as conducting product training on Magnescale products.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database (CRM) or separately assigned spreadsheet.
  • Quotes prices with credit terms and delivery terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Managing sales budget and progress; review and analysis the gap, plan corrective action and execution, Formulate and execute monthly business plans, including sales forecasting and reporting on target customer list.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and Prospective customers to solicit orders or communicate with customers on sales floor or by phone / e-mail / text message.
  • When our company has exhibits at trade shows or PR event, required to attending and offer technical and sales support. 
  • Participating in industry trade shows and its equivalent events and providing pertinent market data and information to management.
  • Portrays the company and its products in a positive manner to customers, distributors and end users.
  • Maintain a high level of professional communications
  • Ensure operational activity is executed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Performs other related duties and assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Preferred previous experience in ultra-precision machining tool, optical critical dimension metrology or film metrology machine, motion control and positioning systems (Heidenhain, Renishaw, Mitutoyo, Fagor, Solartron, Aerotech, Schneeberger). 
  • Over 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical products knowledge or customer call representative is preferred.
  • Average to expert use on Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • Ability work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
 

Physical Demands:

Frequent: Travel, operating a vehicle, sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching. Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects. Repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements.

Periodic: Sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones.

Occasional: Business travel. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects. Lifting or moving up to 20lbs.
