Investor Relations Internship at Fervo Energy Company

Description

As a leading cleantech developer, Fervo is dedicated to driving the transformation of the renewable energy industry, and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investor Relations Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of finance, communications, and strategy, with responsibilities including supporting the creation of materials and reports for current and prospective investors, assisting with preparation for quarterly board of directors meetings, and contributing to the development of IR at a fast-growing clean energy company. The internship provides unique insight into the strategy, messaging, and visualization of investor communications, while also offering opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and company leaders.

Responsibilities

• Investor Communications
  • Draft, edit, and design investor-facing materials, including newsletters, financial reports, and performance updates
  • Assist in preparing updates and presentations for the board of directors
  • Develop compelling marketing materials and investor messaging
• Research & Analysis
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support investor conversations
  • Track industry news, competitor activities, and investor trends to inform communications
  • Collaborate internally with Finance, Strategy, and Executive teams to ensure messaging consistency and data accuracy
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the broader Investor Relations function

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus
• Interest in finance, capital markets, and clean energy/technology industries
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Location

Fervo Energy has offices in Houston, TX, Golden, CO, Reno, NV, Oakland, CA, and Salt Lake City, UT. This position will be eligible for some hybrid work flexibility, but regular in-office presence at our Houston Office will be required.
