- Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando

You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth Orlando’s service standards.
Purchasing Management
- Coordinates and supports the activities of NS Purchasing by managing system buyers.
- Provides training and support to interns.
- Manages product savings opportunities, recording savings appropriated or refused.
- Manages contracted vendors to ensure compliance with Nutritional Services practices.
- Monitors discontinued items; requests appropriate substitutions, requests appropriate CBORD database changes, communicates and maintains detailed documentation.
- Ensures purchasing compliance and process standardization through the development and implementation of guidelines and procedures.
- Identifies non-compliant purchasing system-wide and provides sites with corrective action plans.
- Provides reports to the Business Resource and Purchasing Manager generated through both CBORD and other reporting tools, including specific compliance details for vendors, and providing financial data and analysis that assists in budget planning and meeting financial goals.
WhatYou Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Service Management, Liberal Arts, or Communications OR Four (4) years of applicable experience OR Associate degree and 2 years of applicable experience
- Three (3) years of foodservice contracts experience
- One (1) year of leadership experience
- Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Service Management, Liberal Arts, or Communications
- Seven years of experience working with foodservice contracts, including process quality control
- CBORD MMS
- MM/MA Host System
- Bi-lingual(English required/Spanish preferred)
- ServSafe Certification
TheFoodservice Contracts Manager manages Nutritional Services System Purchasingfunction and acts as a Nutritional Services expert and resource for contractmanagement. Serves as a liaison between purchasing, vendors, campuses and AHSCorporate. Ensures purchasing compliance through the effective implementationof parameters for standardization. Manages contracted vendors, advantagesproduct and cost-saving opportunities, and ensures new product implementationmeets purchasing and contractual requirements. Analyzes purchasing data forbest practices and provides reports to the Business Resource Manager. Actively participates in outstanding customerservice and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that areequally respectful to all.
