The IMPACT (Improving Patient And Community outcomes) Program Lead will be responsible for the continuous development of the IMPACT Institute, successful execution of quality innovation and evaluation projects, and advancement of enterprise quality improvement programs. Under the leadership of Office of the CCO, this role will be regularly collaborating with other leaders across the Jefferson Health Enterprise.
Essential Functions
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Effectively manage team through providing leadership, mentorship, and coaching within the IMPACT Institute and its associated programs.
- Be responsible for development of standards, processes, policies, methodologies and tools to manage grants, projects and initiatives.
- Create and oversee systems for collecting data and reporting on IMPACT achievements.
- Ensure IMPACT quality innovation and evaluation work is aligned with Enterprise priorities.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the IMPACT Institute through employing best practices for stakeholder communication and deployment of standard tools and resources.
- Work with foundations, researchers, and other collaborators to identify and cultivate potential funding sources as well as other opportunities for multi-site research projects.
- Support the IMPACT Institute through preparation of dissemination materials including grant reports, project briefs, presentations, council/committee/board materials, and other ad-hoc priorities.
- Provide local and national presentations and interviews related to the work of IMPACT.
- Assist with identifying and communicating quality innovation and evaluation opportunities locally and Enterprise-wide through leveraging outcomes and process measure data.
- Oversee the development and execution of evaluation plans associated with initiatives run by the IMPACT Institute.
- Manage special projects within the IMPACT Institute’s portfolio as needed.
- Create a collaborative learning environment within the IMPACT Institute and its associated programs.
- Frequently interface with Informatics, Analytics, Nursing, Patient Experience, Equity, Clinical Operations, and Population Health senior leaders to advocate for work that aligns with IMPACT priorities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders on strategy and goal development for work that aligns with IMPACT priorities.
- Stay up to date on best practices, current literature, and learnings from peers through participation in professional development and networking opportunities and self-guided learning
Competencies:
- Proven ability to hold teams responsible for successfully executing on organization-wide projects.
- Evidence of flexibility and adaptability to continuously prioritize multiple projects.
- Exceptional soft skills and emotional intelligence.
- Extensive experience managing large, complex enterprise projects within a healthcare system.
- Experience with developing and executing outcomes evaluation plans in both research and clinical improvement settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and multitasking abilities.
- At least 5 years of research project management experience and outcome evaluation experience.
- Experience in clinical improvement initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Master’s degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Clinical related field is preferred.

- Master’s degree in Business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Clinical related field is preferred.

Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and Project Management tools is essential for this position along with outstanding organizational and communication skills and an overall commitment to best practices and procedures
- 1 – 2 years supervisory experience
