Qualifications:Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least three years’ experience in a Payroll Administrator or similar position.
- Experience using a payroll timekeeping system required; Kronos or UKG experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well under pressure with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of payroll administration required including federal and state laws pertaining to payroll areas.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities:Summary
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for all aspects of payroll administration for the BI business unit per federal and multi state laws and the Company’s payroll policies and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- The Payroll Administrator performs bi-weekly payroll processing duties including:
- Data entry for special pays, and company incentives.
- Computes and processes timecard data, retroactive adjustments and special pays.
- Acts as the liaison with the corporate payroll department to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects Company specific pay policies.
- Reviews the payroll trial balance each pay period to ensure that all special pay is processed correctly.
- Responds to employee, supervisor or manager inquiries regarding payroll and time-keeping system questions/issues.
- Submits requests for terminations to corporate payroll group.
- The Payroll Administrator researches and resolves employee payroll issues.
- Maintains internal payroll and timekeeping database records and tables in time and attendance system.
- Trains employees, supervisors and managers on payroll policies and procedures.
- The Payroll Administrator prepares reports for various departments as requested.
- Documents payroll processes and procedures.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
