This is a hybrid position primarily based in Columbia, MD. We’re committed to your flexibility and wellbeing and our hybrid strategy currently requires three days a week in the office, giving you the option to work remotely if you choose to during your working week.
This ten-to-twelve-week internship program will run from 1st June to August 2026. Successful interns may be offered returning internships and / or a full-time position with us upon graduation.

A role you will love
The RMBS team works on the administration of both securitized and non-securitized residential assets. A Residential Mortgage-Backed Security (RMBS) is a type of investment that is backed by a pool of residential mortgages. The pooled loans are packaged into securities, which are then sold to investors. Analysts within RMBS aggregate and reconcile loan level information, resolve exceptions with reporting deal parties, confirm receipt of required remittances, calculate the mandatory waterfall payments and produce payment date statements for the certificate holders and ensure timely distribution of funds.

Other preferred qualifications
- Enrolled in an Economics, Finance/Accounting or Mathematics degree program
- Impactful involvement through work, academic leadership, volunteerism or activism within the community
