CLX Engineering is seeking a reliable, organized, and upbeat Administrative Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of making the day-to-day operations run like clockwork.
You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our office stays efficient, well-stocked, and humming with positive energy. From coordinating travel to prepping for meetings and maintaining the office vibe, you’ll support the team behind the scenes — and you’ll do it with precision, pride, and a sense of humor.
Our Administrative Assistant/Office Coordinator is an hourly paid full time position. We are not able to pay relocation and candidates must be within commuting distance to our Sanford, FL office.
What You'll Do:
- Travel Coordination: Schedule and book domestic/international travel accommodations, and itineraries for leadership and sales staff.
- Tech-Savvy Administrative Support: Confidently use Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel) for scheduling, data entry, light reporting, and team coordination.
- Office Maintenance: Keep shared areas (reception, conference rooms, kitchen) organized and guest-ready between janitorial services.
- Supplies Management: Monitor and replenish office, kitchen, and breakroom supplies — from printer paper to snacks and coffee.
- Mail & Shipping: Manage incoming/outgoing mail and make occasional drop-offs to local couriers or post offices.
- Meeting & Event Support: Assist with planning and logistics for in-office meetings, events, and team gatherings.
- General Admin Support: Provide administrative support across departments — including scheduling, document prep, and special projects.

Requirements
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative, office coordinator, or executive support role.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 — especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new software platforms efficiently and independently.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in both demeanor and appearance.
- Naturally detail-oriented — you anticipate needs before they arise.
- Strong communicator with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities while keeping calm under pressure.
- Brings a can-do attitude and team spirit to everything you do.
