The selected candidate will succeed Mr. Mark R. Cross, who has led the district with distinction and will retire in June 2026.

The Superintendent's Impact in District 63:

Qualifications and Professional Requirements:
Illinois Professional Educator License, including superintendent endorsement.
Proven K-12 leadership experience with strengths in community engagement, financial management, instructional leadership, and strategic planning.
Excellent professional references reflecting collaboration, innovation, and strong character.
The selected candidate will be offered a regionally competitive package, including:
Base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Multi-year, performance-based contract.

Paid TRS, vacation, and leave time, along with professional dues and travel allowances.
