The Board of Education of Cass School District 63 invites dynamic, visionary leaders to apply for the position of Superintendent of Schools. This is a unique opportunity to lead a small, high-achieving PreK-8 school district in the western suburbs of Chicago where strong community support, innovative programs, and a deep commitment to student success create an environment where every child can thrive. The selected candidate will succeed Mr. Mark R. Cross, who has led the district with distinction and will retire in June 2026.

• Strong Staff Commitment: A 93 percent teacher retention rate reflects a positive and supportive culture that values educators.

• Serve as the district’s chief executive officer, guiding vision, strategy, and daily operations.

• Illinois Professional Educator License, including superintendent endorsement.
• Proven K-12 leadership experience with strengths in community engagement, financial management, instructional leadership, and strategic planning.
• Excellent professional references reflecting collaboration, innovation, and strong character.

• Base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 based on experience and qualifications.
• Multi-year, performance-based contract.
