Reports to: Delivery Manager
 

Job Summary:
As a Delivery Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Delivery and Furniture Preparation departments in multiple ways. You will be responsible for verifying and assisting with processing driver commission payroll, verifying, and completing all paperwork that is turned in, and check in work cell phones, iPads, and delivery truck keys. Additional duties could include working with multiple departments to process merchandise to be added on or canceled from the delivery routes, coordinating, and working with Inventory Control and Delivery Return to Stock departments to resolve any inventory discrepancies that may occur, and creating driver routes.
 

Duties/Responsibilities:
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
 Monitor and update the Truck Manifest (TKM) and delivery Commission forms.
 Identifying and reading reports, tickets, and labels.
 Process add-ons, cancels, and special delivery orders.
 Requires recognizing, identifying, and using merchandise and necessary reports.
 Assist with inventorying tablets, fuel cards, truck keys, and any other items as asked by the AFW management team.
 Create driver routes based off forecasting, maps, weather, dollar amount, etc.
 Run delivery reports as directed by management
 Coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, maximize efficiency, and exceed customer service expectations.
 Abide by all company policies and procedures.
 All other duties assigned by the Delivery Manager as directed.


Compensation Package:
Pay rate: Starting hourly rate of $17.71/hr DOE


Supervision Given and Received:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position is supervised directly by the Delivery Manager and/or Delivery Manager Assistant.
 

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Previous experience as a Delivery Services Coordinator or similar role
• Hands on experience with STORIS and Dispatch Track preferred
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) laws preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain a congenial calm communication style and the ability to diffuse and clarify the needs of drivers to achieve clear solutions.
• Ability to analyze, model and interpret data
• Have strong independent follow up skills

Computer Skills:
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, type 35+ wpm, advanced familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), and advanced internet research skills. Ability to regularly use computers for ordering, communication, documentation, scheduling, maintenance of organizational content on shared drives. Ability to apply technology up to and including Electronic Logging Devices, iPads, dispatch software, and windows. Experience with STORIS and Dispatch Track preferred.
 

Certificates and Licenses:
Certifications and licenses related to business and safety are preferred.
 

Education and Experience:
Two-year college or university program degree preferred; High School diploma required; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of degree.
 

Physical Demands:
 Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas.
 Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours a day.
 Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
