Distribution Auditor at M-D Building Products, Inc

Auditors will select pallets and audit them using scanning tablets to verify the accuracy of the pallet. They will resolve any discrepancies of the pallet, such as shortages or overages. Auditors will be required to communicate with the selection and consolidation team and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Identify selected pallets to audit before going to consolidation
• Count product and verify accuracy utilizing scanner tablets
• Pack finished goods into shipping cartons when necessary and restack pallets after audit
• Set up the audit area and put away tablets and tables at the end of the day
• Fill out failed audit forms and pull the correct items for the pallet
• Maintain working knowledge of all positions involved in handling finished goods inventories
• Assist in the slotting of new products and the re-slotting of existing products
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed and support other departments during peak seasons
• Communicate effectively with selection and consolidation teams
• Assist in training others in the audit process when needed
• Work independently with little direction while maintaining team coordination

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for 10 hours
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Good vision and the ability to read documents clearly
• Strong verbal communication skills for team coordination
• Good writing skills for the completion of daily records
• Analytical ability to resolve pallet discrepancies
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Multitasking capabilities

1st Shift hours are 6:30 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday
