Ensure team maintain excellent professional external communication with both customers and suppliers. Monitor and coach job performance and activities of the transportation team. Develop and maintain procedures to ensure service efficiencies are maximized. Negotiate rates with customers to obtain the most cost effective and efficient movement of shipments. Administer and enforce compliance to DOT rules and regulations, company policies, labor agreements and state and/or federal laws and regulations. Ensure timely delivery of shipments to the customer.
