Job Summary
The Lawndale Elementary School District has a opening for Instructional Assistants - Health Care. These positions accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, LESD provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Resume required
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- CPR and First Aid Certificates - must be Valid required
- 48 Units or an Associate Degree (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university is preferred.
- Some experience working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable .
Carson School - 1 position - 28.5 hrs/week
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:45AM-3:15PM, Tuesdays 7:45AM-3:45PM, OFF Thursday

Current LESD Employees (excluding Substitutes): To apply please submit a reassignment request form via laserfiche, high school diploma or equivalent, resume, and a 5-minute typing certificate verifying 40 net wpm or better dated within 12 months to the District Office by the closing date and time. 10.4.5 If a permanent employee requests to transfer to a vacant position within the same classification offering more hours, and the employee’s most recent performance evaluation reflects a minimal overall rating of meeting standards, then such transfer shall be based on seniority within the classification and/or individual student needs.
