Title: Senior Manager – Mobility, Find a Ride

Location: Redmond, WA

Work schedule: Full Time, Hybrid: remote with some in-person. Typical core business hours of Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with some flexibility. Approximately 80% remote and 20% onsite.

We do this by (1) providing travel education and resources to build awareness of existing transportation options; (2) supporting the coordination of specialized transportation through cross-sector collaborations; and (3) gathering data and needs assessment to recommend and implement improved services. This position oversees Mobility Management's multi-county One-Call/One-Click program, Find a Ride. The Sr. Manager is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, engagement, and implementation of this visionary program. The Sr. Manager advocates for those who need transportation, facilitates discussion, teaches, connects, and partners with organizations to champion transportation solutions.  The ideal candidate will be resourceful, self-motivated, and possess an enterprising spirit and passion for making an impact in the local community.

  • Two years of project or program management experience, demonstrating effective contract management, program marketing, training, and implementation.  
  • Two years of paid experience providing direct human services or two years of supervisory experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or military service.
  • Strong leadership skills with a talent for building professional relationships and the ability to work collaboratively on projects.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data, defining problems, identifying potential solutions, developing implementation strategies, and evaluating outcomes.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and Hopelink’s mission
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills.
  • Bilingual language skills and bicultural lived experiences are highly desired.
  • Knowledge of or a passion for learning about passenger transportation services in King County and Central Puget Sound, including human service transportation.
  • Experience or interest in working with diverse communities, preferably low-income, older adults, people with disabilities, immigrants, refugees, youth, and/or veterans is desired.
  • Prior education or employment in a technical field, such as IT, Database Administration, Computer Science, or Data Analytics is helpful, but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (including Lists, Planner, & PowerBI) a plus.
  • Should be able to travel to offsite work locations or meetings within the region regularly.

Examples of what you will be doing:

  • Oversee the One-Call/One-Click program, Find a Ride, including project management, identifying and spearheading partnership opportunities, marketing, outreach/training strategies, etc.
  • Manage Mobility team staff.  Provide direction and leadership, prioritize team goals, hire and train, coach, model, resolve performance issues, and support staff with professional development opportunities. 
  • Lead the multi-year project roadmap, including project deliverables, vendor procurement and management, risk assessment, schedule, and agency integration.
  • Evaluate program activities to maximize effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Director of Mobility Management with preparing the program annual budget.
  • Develop an operational understanding of the technical components of the Find a Ride technology, including data sources, database configuration, accessibility requirements, integration opportunities, and user interface design.  
  • Manage the One-Call program, Transportation Resources Line, including overseeing the troubleshooting of unique transportation requests and responding to customer feedback. 
  • Collaborate with varied partners in the Central Puget Sound to listen and understand the mobility needs of relevant populations; be proactive in responding to needs and championing solutions. 

How you will be compensated: Hopelink is proud to provide meaningful paid time away from work and an affordable, comprehensive benefits package.

  • Compensation: $78,000 - $82,000 annually Depending on Experience
  • Up to 10 paid vacation and sick days annually and 10 paid holidays, 
  • Plus up to 7 paid float days available to use immediately; dependent on hire date and hours/week
