Pay Range: $24.00-$25.25/hour
Total Compensation:
In addition to standard pay, compensation for this position includes:

Please note: This position is temporary; you will only receive state minimum of sick time and does not include vacation or 401K benefits.
Position Overview:
JFS is looking for a compassionate, mission-driven individual to join the Nutrition team as the Home Delivered Meals Coordinator, Temp. In this role, you have the opportunity to use your data entry and customer service skills and logistics experience to make a meaningful difference in your community and help change lives across San Diego. The Home Delivered Meals Coordinator, Temp plays an integral role on the team and supports the entire agency by coordinating the daily operations of the Home Delivered Meals program. This position reports directly to the Home Delivered Meals Manager and works closely with the other coordinators and the rest of the Nutrition team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating enrollment and provision of meal delivery service via use of client management system (Servtracker and ETOi)
- Onboard and manage client expectations and experience
- Collect detailed information from clients to ensure successful deliveries, such as gate codes, navigation tips, etc
- Accept referrals to the program, updating multiple databases and scheduling of timely meal deliveries
- Receive and record reservations for Congregate Dining
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietician to support client meal preferences
- Collaborate with other Home Delivered Meals Coordinator to resolve client related delivery challenges
- Creating program reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and as needed basis
- Connect participants with other programs and resources of Jewish Family Service as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Skills/Experience/Abilities That Are a Must-Have:
- Must have a valid CA driver's license, insurance, a reliable personal vehicle, and a willingness to travel off-site
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive outlook while multi-tasking
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with seniors or vulnerable populations
- Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency
Skills/Abilities We’d Like You to Have:
- Bilingual highly desired
