Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Operations Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day operations and provide strategic support within our dynamic and growing retail media company, Best Buy ads. This role will report directly into the President of Best Buy Ads and ensure operational excellence, polished communication, and a service-oriented mindset to create a high-performing workplace environment and support leadership at the highest level.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at a Best Buy Ads office in Midtown Manhattan and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
- Provide high-level administrative support to the President of BBY Ads, including calendar management, travel coordination, and vendor relationships.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, managing supplies, facilities, and remote team logistics.
- Maintain and update internal documentation such as SOPs, policy manuals, and contact lists.
- Partner with HR to support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows across marketing, sales, and media operations teams.
- Plan and document internal meetings, ensuring clear task follow-ups and accountability.
- Manage administrative budgets, vendor contracts, and procurement activities.
Track and report on operational KPIs and budget compliance.
Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Basic Qualifications
- 5 + years of experience in office management, operations, or administrative support roles.
- 5 + years of experience managing multiple stakeholders and prioritizing competing deadlines.
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Communications, or a related field.
- Prior experience in media, marketing, or retail technology industries.
