What to Expect
The Facilities Management Associate ensures the smooth operation of facility services and fosters an engaging workplace environment. Serving as the onsite liaison with Corporate Workplace Services, this role manages assists with managing relationships with property management, vendors, and security personnel, monitors facility budgets, and coordinates emergency preparedness plans. This position will support new hire onboarding by processing documentation, organizing first-day logistics, and leading orientation sessions. In addition, execute employee programs and events under the guidance of Corporate Engagement, maintain inventory, and oversee event communications.
What You Will Do
1. Serve as the local onsite facility liaison, collaborating with Corporate Workplace Services to ensure that the assigned location’s facility provides an engaging atmosphere for all HCA employees while maintaining the overall consistency between locations. Establish relationships with local property management and onsite management team, serving as main local contact. Responsible for overall budget management for assigned facility. Must establish and maintain vendor relationships in local marketplace. Coordinate of the local Building Evacuation Plan and training. Provide general daily direction to mailroom and security contract personnel.
2. Serve as primary point of contact for all new hires, including processing all onboarding documentation for assigned new hires and ensuring that all new hires have a seamless first day experience with scheduling and system access. Responsible for leading New Hire Orientation for assigned location and providing feedback to the Talent Management Team on the NHO deck to ensure that it is relevant and updated as appropriate.
3. Plan and execute programs and events for our Operations Centers. This includes sourcing vendors, budget management, catering, general activities, create/maintain edit communication plans, coordinate executive hosts and schedules. Keep inventory of gifts and equipment, prepare presentations, conduct regular audits, and other program and event duties as needed. Partner with the other Engagement Team Members to assess HCA’s ROI on events and ensure programs are meeting the desired outcome of increased engagement. Serve as local communications lead for assigned location.
4. Manage local CUBE communications page and support HCA’s overall communication strategy in conjunction with the Communications Lead. Partner with Engagement team to assist on Corporate Level Initiatives as needed.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in facilities management, event coordination, or HR-related support
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to learn and retain new concepts and technology quickly
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong people skills, including the ability to build relationships with internal clients and external vendors Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain effective communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with workplace management software.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.

Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
