The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager with day-to-day management of RPMC managed property.

Essential Job Functions
Ensures accurate and timely entries to property management software program including, but not limited to: posting rent, entering service requests, processing applications and certifications, entering purchase orders and invoicing.
Completes all certifications accurately and timely. Maintains physical and electronic files at a high standard according to RPMC policy.
Assists with the management of Fair Housing, HOME, Section 42 Tax Credit and/or HUD Section 8 Program compliance.
Assists with the supervision of site personnel, including interviewing, hiring, training, staff team building and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
Assists with staff scheduling, disciplinary recommendations, inventory control, report generation and resident relations.
Conducts health and safety quality control inspections to detect possible violations of housing quality standards.
Assists residents with maintenance and lock-out service requests.
Maintains a work environment that is marked by respect for others; that values inclusiveness and builds workforce diversity; and that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary
Knowledge of homeless issues and demonstrated sensitivity to and a desire to work with under-served populations.
Knowledge of Section 42 Tax Credit and Section 8 Programs.
Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity laws.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Skill in negotiating and mediating, particularly in sensitive situations.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Ability to work weekends as needed.
Ability to pass automobile insurance carrier’s motor vehicle record investigation.
