Job Summary
Clinician will provide counseling using applied psychotherapeutic techniques to individuals, families or groups wherein interpersonal relationships are examined for the purpose of achieving more adequate, satisfying, and productive individual and/or family adjustments.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $41.79 - $72.17 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in clinical social work or marriage and family and child counseling, marital and family therapy, psychology, clinical or counseling psychology, or counseling with an emphasis in either marriage, family and child counseling or marriage and family therapy from an accredited school.
- Experience working with children and families with a culturally diverse population. Based on degree, licensure and years of experience, will be under a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist or Clinical Counselor job description upon hire.
- Experience in working with BIPOC children, youth and families populations.
- Normal and atypical child development Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary setting with a diverse group of professional and support staff
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to crises Computer literate
- Ability to work independently, organize tasks, problem solve, make decisions, and handle multiple priorities; Interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact well with co-workers and client families in varied settings.
