Description
Job Purpose:
Managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision. Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution. Setting up layout and ensuring efficient space utilization.
Duties and responsibilities

- Be a member of the GCP Safety Committee and complete required training and tasks.
- Tasks assigned during monthly meetings.
Oversee Warehouse and assist with the following warehouse tasks:
- Load and unload trucks (Full 53' trailers as well as LTL loads)
- Receive orders- audit, label and put away.
- Ship orders - pack into boxes, sort onto pallets, create shipping labels, apply labels, and shrink wrap pallets.
- Pull parts for our Service Parts department and load them onto racks.
- Load raw substrate onto racks and deliver to the E-Coat department.
- General cleaning of the warehouse - breaking down boxes and placing them in recycle bin, stacking and sorting pallets, sweeping the floor, trash removal, etc..
- Assist with maintaining walking/forklift paths during winter months.
- Inventory- regular cycle counts and daily monitoring of products being pulled.
- Restocking shelves from overstock areas as the product is being pulled.
- Monitor the amount of empty returnable dunnage in-house and return to vendors as needed.
Oversee the E-coat department:
- Make sure necessary parts are loaded each day.
- Regularly follow-up and check-in on the team to make sure they will meet their daily parts goal.
- Monitor supply cabinets and materials usage.
- Create build slips for products being loaded onto racks.
- Communicate any process changes or changes in materials.
Oversee the Procurement Department:
- Partner with department to monitor Inventory and complete regular cycle counts.
- Work with department to set MIN/MAX quantities on inventory.
- Meet weekly to discuss expected shipments, changes in production schedule, inventory issues, and potential issues acquiring raw substrate.
Oversee Cage Operations in the warehouse:
- Ensure Cage is kept clean, organized and cycle counts are being completed on a regular basis.
- Communicate regularly with the team to relay any upcoming process or inventory changes as well as identify any department needs.
- Meet weekly with Production Manager to discuss production schedule and upcoming production changes.
- Meet daily with Production Supervisor to determine our weekly shipping schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED ~ Preferred-Bachelor’s Degree
- Administrative experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Have a functional understanding of computers and be comfortable using all Microsoft products.
- Must be able to drive a forklift.
