- Serve as a subject matter expert in indirect categories (e.g., IT, Fleet, Managed Services), with deep knowledge of cost structures, supplier markets, usage trends, and benchmarks.
- Lead cross-functional change management initiatives aligned with category strategies to drive consistency and synergies enterprise-wide.
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives through contract negotiation, process optimization, and implementation of sustainable cost controls in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms and compliance.
- Conduct proactive spend analysis using strategic sourcing tools, maintain cost models, and track performance metrics by supplier and category.
- Communicate supplier performance, category trends, and market intelligence to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with key suppliers and support supplier development initiatives.
- Apply structured sourcing methodologies (e.g., 7-Step Strategic Sourcing) to deliver measurable results.

- Required Years of Experience: 3 to 10 years of indirect category management experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
- Knowledge: Functional understanding of JDE or ERP, Supply Chain, logistics, warehousing, distribution. Experience navigating supplier onboarding, contract workflows, purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes, and cost tracking within global supply chain operations.
- Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access) with PowerBI
