The Market Partnership Manager for Northern California, is accountable for building and maintaining trust, as a reliable resource for behavioral health care, in their respective professional communities. This position will collaborate, both internally and externally, with regular communications, lunch and learns and meet in greets. They will act as an internal liaison to foster and enhance the experience for external providers, medical groups, health systems, universities, and employer groups. These talented specialists will identify market opportunity, build, and deepen professional relationships and optimize potential opportunities to increase Mindpath Health’s reach and referral network.

The Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary external representative of Mindpath Health by conducting in-person meetings with referral sources—including medical groups, health systems, universities, behavioral health professionals/systems, and employers—to identify needs, address barriers, and foster meaningful community partnerships.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Mindpath Health’s services and provider offerings to effectively communicate value and support partner alignment.
  • Align outreach efforts with organizational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational performance and demand generation.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to the local Community Liaison and/or referral team to maintain strong ongoing relationships with referral sources.
  • Build, manage, and nurture a pipeline of partnership opportunities within the assigned territory, focusing on long-term relationship development and retention.
  • Conduct research on external organizations and referral networks to understand group dynamics, needs, and existing resources.
  • Identify key decision-makers in the market, initiate contact, build relationships, and track all significant interactions within the Salesforce CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop tailored collateral and resources for external stakeholders.
  • Strategically plan and manage territory coverage to balance outreach to both new and existing partners.
  • Deliver customized presentations to prospective partners, adapting content to meet the specific needs of each audience.
  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual objectives aligned with growth goals for the assigned market.
  • Organize and attend facility tours, networking weekends, referral events, and professional conferences on behalf of Mindpath Health.
  • Engage in national best practices and collaborative initiatives to support local market growth and visibility.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% of the time within assigned territory.

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role or capacity.
  • Familiarity with behavioral healthcare practices and/or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and culturally diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to support timely issue resolution.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, ask insightful questions, and clearly articulate value to referral sources.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 per year. We offer full benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, holiday pay, 401k, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave, and more.
