- Act as Project Manager: Coordinate with Product Marketing to gather messaging and update solution overview courses, ensuring that all training materials are current and aligned with the latest product developments and marketing strategies.
- Teach and Demo: Instruct ISRs, AEs, and SEs on how to present product demos
effectively, including those that utilize click-through demos not available in live software, to tell compelling stories to clients and prospects.
- Competitive Landscape: Present and explain Cloudera’s position within the competitive landscape, highlighting key differentiators and strategic advantages.
- Instructor and Assessor: Contribute as an instructor and assessor in the new hire training program, ensuring that new sales team members are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
- Support Sales Play Launches: Contribute to the development and execution of product sales play launches, working closely with sales and marketing teams.
- Develop Certification Paths: Create a certification path for sales teams and support the SE Enablement Manager in developing certification programs for SEs.
- Global Collaboration: Work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment, coordinating with Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Product Management, and Subject Matter Experts across different time zones.
- Support Cloudera’s Analysts Engagements: Collaborate with Product Marketing, engaging with industry analysts, such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, to understand market trends, gather insights, and incorporate analyst feedback into training materials. Use these insights to better position Cloudera’s products and to educate the sales team on market positioning and competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with the Internal Strategy Team: Partner with the internal strategy team to align training content with the company's strategic direction and long-term goals.
