Head of Renewable Energy Services EMEA (m/f/d)

Your place of work can be remote within EU, with occasional visits to the HQ office (Switzerland)


Your responsibilities


This role has the key function of development and growing our value-added services business in Photovoltaics industry in the EMEA region and is responsible for supporting the services organization by leading and developing a strong local services team with an integrated and market/customer-oriented approach.


Your main responsibilites include:


  • You will be responsible for determining and meeting annual turnover for Service Business in the EMEA market.
  • You manage a team of RE services specialists/ technicians.
  • In alignment with the Global Head of Services, you develop the regional strategy for growth of service business, assuring positive outcome. Create a corresponding business plan according to internal guidelines and requirements to conform with internal budgeting framework.
  • You enhance the services offering in the regional market with local needs and requirements.
  • You will take a leadership role on the Staubli internal team to generate the needed documentation, procedures, and resources to support the expected services offering.


Profile


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and/or electrical engineering.
  • Several years work experience in the photovoltaic industry, ideally with global interactions in field services / PV system audits or product verification methodology.
  • Exhibiting effective listening skills and superb communication skills.
  • Business acumen, ability to analyze business opportunities and motivate your team in making sound business decisions regarding future potential and return on investment.
  • Well versed in the sales strategies necessary to overcome customer objections.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team members and manage conflicts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German, French, Spanish is a plus.
  • Critical thinker, problem solver.
  • Driven, ambitious, competitive and solution-oriented personality.
  • Willingness to travel (minimum of 30%).
  • EU Residency status is a requirement.
