About the job

The Data Analyst for Onyx will play a pivotal role in enhancing the value of our platform by designing, building, and maintaining standard reports and data widgets that meet the needs of both internal stakeholders and customers.,

  • Design, build, and maintain standard reports and data widgets within the Onyx platform to meet customer and internal needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
  • Analyse data from various sources to derive actionable insights that demonstrate the impact and value of key features.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Work closely with the development team to integrate reporting capabilities into the product, ensuring they align with user requirements.
  • Provide feedback on data structures and reporting tools to enhance data accessibility.
  • Respond to customer-specific reporting requests, gathering requirements and delivering tailored reports as needed.
  • Create and maintain documentation for reports and data processes to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in developing user guides or training materials related to reporting features.
  • Monitor the usage and effectiveness of reports and data widgets, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
  • Identify trends and patterns in customer data to inform product development and feature enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data analysis to enhance the quality of insights provided.
  • Suggest improvements to existing reporting tools and processes based on user feedback.
  • Participate in team meetings to provide insights that support strategic decision-making.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, BI Tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • An understanding of data visualisation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to present findings clearly
