Expected compensation: 53.00 - 62.00 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping Woven Planet hire a highly skilled Triage Operations Specialist to triage daily reports generated by test drives in order to surface issues to relevant development teams.

In this role, you will also help develop tools and scripts to automate aspects of the testing, investigating, and reporting aspects of the job.

As a Triage Operations Specialist, You Will

  • Work closely with both the Field Operations and core engineering teams.
  • Analyze complex streams of information (logs, video files, sensor data) to triage and identify issues detected during autonomous vehicle drives.
  • Interface with core engineering teams to communicate and discuss issues and gain an understanding of the overall autonomous driving platform.
  • Use 3rd-party and proprietary tools as part of the triage process.
  • Provide scripting support to help automate the triage process.
  • Help maintain dashboards and data filters (Jira, SQL) used to gather interesting test scenarios.
  • Mentor other Triage Operations Specialists.
  • Help maintain documentation of the triaging process and the self-driving system.
  • Some travel may be required.

Requirements
  • Experience as a test engineer (software, QA, or other) analyzing, debugging, and triaging complex systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer-focused, organized, thorough, and meticulous

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience using Python, terminal scripts, git, and SQL
  • Able to create and expand Python script to give productivity reports and visualizations of progress for other teams
  • Prior experience in autonomous or robotic systems
  • Familiarity with XView visualization software

Commitment: This is an 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in San Francisco, CA. This position will be remote and available to candidates local to the Bay Area.
