Purpose of this role

Revecore is embarking on re-architecting and modernizing its core platform. As part of this, the Data Operations team at Revecore is building upon its capabilities to ensure data accuracy, data integrity, and availability of data assets across the business. This team plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven excellence within our organization. The accuracy and quality of our products starts with us. It is our job to maintain a data infrastructure that is built on this trust and reliability.

The Data Operations Analyst will join the Technology group meticulously managing file deliveries, data ingestion, load processing, and internal configurations. Their work also involves identifying and rectifying data discrepancies, conducting thorough quality checks, and optimizing data workflows to enhance efficiency. By maintaining data integrity and adhering to our best practices, you will provide a solid foundation for data driven decisions used by the business. Collaboration between internal and external teams is critical to success within this role to understand data needs, objectives, and requirements for each engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs, objectives, and requirements.
  • Monitor and manage expected data files sent via SFTP.
  • Follow-up with clients on missing deliveries and mitigate issues related to file transfer.
  • Develop expertise as a subject matter expert in healthcare data.
  • Create and manage internal configurations based on files received.
  • Manage pre-processing data checks to ensure files meet specifications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data quality assurance checks related to files and the content of files for data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries to identify and rectify data discrepancies.
  • Assist with management of Patient Accounting System scripts.
  • Assist in the design and optimization of data workflows and operational processes.
  • Contribute to the documentation of data processes, methodologies, and workflows.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to data operations and analysis.

Technical Requirements

  • Our stack is Azure Synapse (Spark and SQL), dbt, Airflow, and Python. Experience with the above is helpful, but a desire to learn is a must.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud is preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with T-SQL is critical.
  • We are looking for 4-6 years’ experience reading/writing T-SQL in an operational role.
  • In addition to SELECT Statements, any additional experience with Views, Stored Procedures, and Common Table Expressions.
  • Strong knowledge of designing and implementing data quality assurance checks
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare provider data
  • Knowledge of data privacy and HIPAA regulations
  • Knowledge of data lakes and ELT process capabilities on Azure using Azure services.
  • Familiarity with Python is helpful to this role.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
