About This Opportunity

InComm is seeking to grow our Business Intelligence and ETL Reporting function. As a member of our BI and ETL Reporting team you will perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources, databases, and extraction of data. You will work closely with our team of BI developers and QA Engineers to ensure data integrity for our payment platforms, financial services and healthcare applications and products. This is an excellent opportunity for a rising professional with interests and foundational skills in software testing, database administration and/or BI reporting.

Responsibilities

• (ETL) testing for verifying accuracy of data sources and ensure quality data migration
• Create test scripts and SQL queries for testing and validation processes
• Will aid in troubleshoot of ETL and Reporting system
• End user report testing: assist BI Developers to ensure accurate and complete view of the data
• Database regression and performance testing including performance tuning
• Parse, analyze and debug databases
• Able to support after hours’ coverage/escalation
• Collaborate with QA testing
• Create and maintain documentation on the platform, such as platform details, Run books, escalation procedures, and any other that becomes a necessity.
• Creation of current state of system flow that will be used as an artifact for future development and troubleshooting
• This person will also be responsible for other task and responsibilities as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with data, data warehousing, database administration, or Business Intelligence (BI)
• 2+ years’ experience in MS SQL server (scripting queries)
• 2+ years’ experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
• Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis concepts and processes, data modeling and ETL processes
• Understanding of information governance principles and how they could apply in a testing capacity.
• Experience with data backup and recovery and performance matters
• Experience with Agile Software Development & Testing methods
• Strong analytical or problem-solving skills
• Experience working within healthcare sector (PHI, PII, PCI data) highly preferred
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and SSRS is a plus
