Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Certified Coding Specialist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is specifically available to Kansas residents and emphasizes expertise in Family Medicine and eCW. As a key component of our medical billing office, you will play a vital role in managing the revenue cycle of our practice.Key Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of patient information
• Assign appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes
• Enter charges and submit claims to insurance carriers
• Generate patient statements and post payments alongside adjustments
• Address patient collections and manage denial resolutions
• Handle all aspects of aging accounts to ensure efficient revenue cycle management

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics
• In-depth knowledge of medical coding procedures and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Coder designation is mandatory
• Experience in Family Medicine and eCW is highly preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
