SixPoint Capital Management is a hybrid credit provider for fintech lenders in emerging and frontier markets. We are seeking a talented Front End Developer with Retool expertise to assist our Head of Data Science and Risk in developing and managing systems that enable us to underwrite and evaluate investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain a Retool application to facilitate underwriting and evaluate potential credit investment opportunities, ensuring an excellent user experience.
  • Focus on front end development within Retool, building intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements and translate them into user-friendly applications.
  • Develop workflows in Retool, integrating 3rd party services such as AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, and other relevant databases.
  • Assist in shaping the tech product roadmap with an emphasis on the front end, enhancing the overall user interface and experience.
  • Provide front end support for data visualizations and create dynamic dashboards that provide insights into investment opportunities.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues that arise, focusing on usability and UI consistency.

Requirements:

  • Strong design skills and experience, with an eye for good UX to ensure the applications are not only functional but also intuitive and visually appealing.
  • Good eye for data visualization, with experience using data visualization tools and libraries to create insightful and user-friendly dashboards.

  • Proven experience using Retool to prototype and develop user-facing apps rapidly, with a focus on front end development.
  • Strong expertise in front end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with UI frameworks.
  • Excellent skills in creating responsive and dynamic user interfaces, with a keen eye for design and usability.
  • Proficiency in integrating and working with various data sources, APIs, and databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and libraries to create insightful and intuitive dashboards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.
  • Interest in finance, particularly credit, is highly desirable, but not required.
  • This is a contract role with the opportunity to become full time for the right candidate.
