The Data Architect is responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient data infrastructure that supports data analysis, storage, and retrieval. The Data Architect will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs and drive decision-making.

Essential Functions:

• Data Architecture Design: Develop and implement scalable data models, schemas, and architectures that support business intelligence and analytics.
• Data Integration: Design and oversee the integration of diverse data sources into a cohesive data environment, ensuring quality and accessibility.
• Data Governance: Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of databases and data systems, making improvements as necessary.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards to facilitate understanding and compliance across teams.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging data technologies and tools, assessing their applicability to enhance the data infrastructure.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions to ensure data availability and integrity.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases).
• Data Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
• Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau) preferred
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud data services (Azure)
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
