- Determine operating room time needed for procedures and coordinate scheduling with the facility
- Verify physician credentials before scheduling patient procedures
- Ensure efficient coordination of provider clinic and facility schedules
- Support and adhere to the HCA Code of Conduct, Ethics and Compliance policies, and HIPAA requirements
- High school degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office setting (e.g., ambulatory surgery center, hospital, doctor's office)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required as per practice standards
- Knowledge of clinical coding and scheduling processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in a surgical scheduling role within a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications related to healthcare administration or scheduling
- Proven track record of excellent patient care and customer service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
