Hybrid LaTeX and XML Specialist (Part-Time) LaTeX and XML Specialist (Part-Time)

One of Our US based clients are seeking a LaTeX and XML specialist to provide support and back-up for an existing resource on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for a math guru or someone with strong mathematical typesetting skills, who is proficient in both LaTeX and XML.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-demand back-up and assistance for ongoing projects involving LaTeX and XML.
• Collaborate with the existing team to ensure consistency and quality in document formatting and structure.
• Handle complex mathematical typesetting using LaTeX for academic or technical projects.
• Ensure proper XML tagging and structure to maintain document integrity.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with LaTeX for complex typesetting, especially in mathematical or technical contexts.
• Strong understanding of XML and experience with XML tagging and document structuring.
• Ability to work on an as-needed basis and provide quick turnaround when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Background in mathematics, engineering, or related fields where LaTeX is heavily used.
• Familiarity with LaTeX and XML tools and workflows.
