As a Solution Engineer you work in our Communication Segment supporting the Strategy & Business Development team defining new technical solutions and evaluating the related business opportunities. In this varied role your key responsibilities are the following:
- Know and understand the Lead Customers/Projects as well as the main product and service requirements for today and tomorrow
- Identify new product/solutions opportunities and provide regular information on market and technology trends, dynamics, opportunities and challenges in territories all over the world
- Responsible for strategic solutions in areas of innovation, 3rd party product integration and be initiator for mid- and long-term innovation ideas
- Responsible to create business cases to justify new product/solution development, engage internal stakeholders and help drive the development of new solution to expand offering/revenue defining requirements for product development projects in accordance with Sales and Technology

Furthermore, you have:
- Higher education (e.g. Bachelor degree) in a technical field
- Understanding of radio frequency, power and optic transmission as well as installation experience (FTTA, Cell Site, etc.)
- Excellence in written and verbal English, German is an advantage
- PDM and SAP skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
